Pabasa sa Nutrisyon Program

Being one with the fight against malnutrition through education, the Nutrition Center of the Philippines (NCP) offers the Pabasa sa Nutrisyon Program which aims to educate the caregivers of the family on the proper nutrition practices and healthy lifestyle to reduce the vulnerability of other family members to malnutrition. This is a 10-week course conducted in coordination with the health and nutrition workers such as Rural Health Midwives, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health Workers and NGO volunteers. Pabasa sa Nutrisyon is a fun learning activity where parents are encouraged to have an in-depth knowledge on Nutri-Guide and share personal experiences on related topics. Different exercises, demonstrations, and games are conducted to help the parents better understand the importance of right nutrition and the dangers of malnutrition on their children. For Local Government Units (LGUs), and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) that want to avail the program, you may contact NCP through their website www.ncp.org.ph or through the following contact numbers:
