Pabasa sa Nutrisyon Program

As part of the ongoing fight against malnutrition, the Pabasa sa Nutrisyon Program is an educational initiative spearheaded by the NCP. This 10-week course is designed to educate caregivers on proper nutrition practices and healthy lifestyles to reduce the vulnerability of family members, especially children, to malnutrition. Conducted in partnership with health and nutrition workers like Rural Health Midwives, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Barangay Health Workers, and NGO volunteers, the program creates a fun and interactive learning environment.

Caregivers engage in activities such as exercises, demonstrations, and games, all aimed at deepening their understanding of nutrition and the risks of malnutrition. This initiative emphasizes the importance of hands-on learning, with participants encouraged to share personal experiences and gain in-depth knowledge using the Nutri-Guide.
