Welcome to Philippine Nutri-Foods Corporation
The Philippine Nutri-Foods Corporation is a subsidiary of the Nutrition Center of the Philippines (NCP). The NCP is a non-profit organisation committed to promoting nutrition security. PNFC was established in 1977 to develop and manufacture food supplements for the country’s feeding programs. PNFC sells its products mainly to government and NGOs. The policies and strategic directions of PNFC are aligned with that of NCP. PNFC has a separate Board of Directors. Today, we have products that cater to the needs of infants, children, and even pregnant and lactating women. We have reached thousands of children since 1977. PNFC is making sure that micronutrient powder is available for everyone. Aside from the Nutri-Foods MNP, which is usually served for LGU and NGO, Vita Meena Young Children and Vita Meena Kids are brands of MNP that contains vitamins and minerals. These are already available in some drugstores in Greater Manila. There is also Vita Mix, another brand of MNP, which is made for the requirements of Department of Health.
Our Mission
- To manufacture and market fortified food commodities and food supplements suited to the needs of various target groups : pre-schoolers, schoolchildren, pregnant and lactating women.
- To provide access to nutritional tools such as measuring devices and educational materials: weighing scales, height boards, leaflets and T-shirts.
- To do our part in building a healthy Filipino nation.
